A QUICK STORY ABOUT A GIRL AND HER PET

Tabitha and her Hermit Crab Sebastian
My 8 year Tabitha got two hermit crabs from her 19 year old sister Sabrina for Christmas. She was SO Excited! She took very good care of her hermit crabs for several weeks, paid special attention to their needs to be fed and misted, and kept their cage very clean. She posted videos on her youtube channel of Sebastian and Shelby's day time races.
One day, Tabitha came into my room while I was getting ready for work and exclaimed in horror, "Mom, Sebastian is Dead!" - Although she tried VERY hard to be brave, and fight back tears, it was no use. She crumbled onto the floor behind her bedroom door quietly sobbing and working diligently to wipe away tears before anyone could see her. Tabitha is a very brave, strong little girl.
Daddy came in and scooped poor Sebastian off the floor of the cage minus his shell and placed him in a box. He hugged Tabitha and told her that they would bury him when they got home from school.
I got a phone call at the office at about 4PM. Tabitha and my husband had come home from school and were planning on taking Sebastian to the park to bury him. Tabitha picked up his old shell and saw something move, my husband told me on the call. Sebastian was NOT DEAD. He had simply shed his old skin (molted) and found a larger, more comfortable shell that would allow him to grow! Obviously my daughter Tabitha was overjoyed. "Mommy", she said when I got home. "Sebastian would have died if I did not have just the right shell there for him to move into", to which I replied "Everyone needs the right kind of shell"
THAT got me thinking. I recently made a career move. I had been in a very small "shell" that did not support my growth. I did not even realize how much my growth was stunted and how little room I had to move. I was running out of time and had no idea. Since my move to a "larger shell", my real estate team has grown from 2 members to 12 members with 4 trainees stepping in soon and award winning production.
